Twelve winners were selected out of over one hundred “Americana” photographs submitted in the 2018 FCBank wall calendar contest. The calendar has become a customer favorite, and beginning in November, FCBank associates will be providing these revered calendars to thousands of customers throughout central Ohio.
For the past two months, residents, from amateur to professional photographers, have been providing their favorite Americana photos to FCBank’s online calendar contest at The deadline for submission was Sunday, August 6 and the difficult task of selecting twelve winners ensued.
The photograph awarded Best of Show will be featured on the front cover.  This cherished position was awarded to Lori Zornes of Bucyrus, Ohio.  Not only will her photo, entitled “Majestic Freedom”, be featured on the cover of thousands of 2018 wall calendars, but will also be featured the month of June. 
The other eleven months of the year will feature photographs submitted by Colleen O’Shea and Kathy Simcox of Hilliard, Erick Biederman, Chuck Roach, Melanie Rowlinson and Toni Vest of Spring Valley, Patricia Bendick of Worthington, and Bill Simbeck of Sheffield, PA. 
In addition, 20 photographs earned honorable mention and will be displayed on a special page of the calendar. Those photographs were submitted by Shannan Biederman, Barbara Brodbeck, P. Brown, Julie Davis, Fred, Hendricks, Robert Hosken, Susan Irwin, Ike Kameoka, Keith Sturtz, Lorie Roach, Barbara Scott, Kathie Simcox, Karen Sturtz, and Toni Vest.
FCBank wishes to thank all the individuals who help to make the wall calendar so popular among its customers. FCBank initiated this contest to provide an avenue to feature local talent and the communities in which the Bank serves through the eyes of residents as they’ve captured with their camera.  
Calendars will be available to pick up at any FCBank office location beginning in November.
